By this privacy notice, Qatar Postal Services Company formally notify its stakeholders (PII Principals) including employees, contractors, vendors and customers that the organization processes personally identifiable information (PII) of its stakeholders (PII Principals). Qatar Postal Services Company is committed to protect the privacy of data collected from stakeholders (PII Principals).   • Qatar Postal Services Company processes PII collected from its stakeholders (PII Principals) in secure data processing facilities operated either by Qatar Postal Services Company or its Managed Service Providers
  • Qatar Postal Services Company shall take reasonable steps to ensure the data processing facilities are operated with the highest security and data protection measures implemented to prevent any compromise or breaches
  • The stakeholders (PII Principals) of Qatar Posts if provisioned with credentials and access related information to authenticate and access any of the services provided by Qatar Post, it is the stakeholder’s (PII Principals) responsibility to secure the credentials and access related information confirming to the standards and instructions provided by Qatar Post
  • The stakeholders (PII Principals) of Qatar Posts if provisioned with credentials and access related information to authenticate and access any of the services provided by Qatar Postal Services Company are hereby authorize Qatar Postal Services Company to perform usual operations if any personal who authenticate with the credentials and access related information provided exclusively to the stakeholders (PII Principals). In this regard; Qatar Postal Services Company strongly recommends its stakeholders (PII Principals) to maintain the credentials and access related information confidentially and not to share it with any other parties unless the stakeholders (PII Principals) trust and authorize them to act on behalf of the respective stakeholders (PII Principals)
  • Although Qatar Postal Services Company takes the highest available measures to protect PII during its transmission to data processing facilities; the PII processed via internet cannot be assured and guaranteed for its protection and complete security due to the technical nature of internet communication. Qatar Postal Services Company shall only assure and guarantee for the protection and complete security of PII after the same has securely reached our data processing facilities. During the transit Qatar Postal Services Company cannot assure or guarantee or take responsibility of PII for its protection and complete security
  • Qatar Postal Services Company shall retain the PII collected from its stakeholders (PII Principals) for a period determined by each business services or internal processes as well as determined by local regulatory, statutory and legal bodies. The retention period of PII cannot be explicitly defined by Qatar Postal Services Company due to the complex and interconnected nature of different business services and internal processes operated. Nevertheless, the stakeholders (PII Principals) can obtain related information on the retention period of PII they shared with Qatar Postal Services Company on different business services and internal processes by contacting the customer services or on the mentioned designated contact information at the bottom of the page

  • The stakeholders (PII Principals) have the rights for modification, withdrawal, object, access, correction or erasure on the PII they shared with Qatar Post
  • The above mentioned rights are generally and most of the times applicable on the PII shared by the stakeholders (PII Principals) with Qatar Post. However there are exceptions and instances where the rights cannot be exercised as mentioned. Such instances and exceptions are exclusively determined by Qatar Postal Services Company or determined by local regulatory, statutory and legal bodies due to the complex and interconnected nature of different business services and internal processes operated.
